Haus Chips
Packaging Design
Haus Chips began as an exploration of Bauhaus-inspired snack packaging, focused on geometry, bold color, and functional typography. While the initial concept established a strong visual foundation, it leaned heavily into graphic minimalism and lacked personality.

Midway through the project, the “client” requested a rebrand—specifically asking for a more expressive system that could differentiate flavors, increase shelf presence, and introduce a stronger emotional connection to the brand.
The challenge: evolve the existing Bauhaus framework without losing its modernist integrity.
The redesign pushed the project into a more conceptual direction by introducing character-driven mascots inspired by The Triadic Ballet by Oskar Schlemmer.
Drawing from the ballet’s sculptural costumes, exaggerated silhouettes, and use of color as identity, I designed three geometric mascots—each representing a distinct flavor. The triadic structure became both a conceptual anchor and a functional branding tool.
The updated system combined:
Bauhaus grid structures and typography
A limited but expressive color palette
Mascots that function as modular, repeatable brand assets
Each character was designed to feel playful yet intentional—transforming performance art into contemporary packaging design.

This project highlights my ability to iterate, respond to feedback, and elevate a concept through research-driven design decisions. By reworking Haus Chips as a redesign rather than a reset, I was able to explore how historical movements, specifically Bauhaus and the Triadic Ballet, can inform playful, modern branding systems.
